Welcome New Month. More importantly, Welcome New Month's Budget!

I thought I'd start the first day of the month out right by dropping a bunch of money. Nothing like using up the whole month's budget right at the beginning.

I have been WAITING for today to hit this killer Smith's sale. It's a 2 week deal so these prices are on until a week from tomorrow (Tues) night.

Retails: $140.40

Total Spent: $39.05

Percent Off: 72%

Plus I have a $5 catalina, like a gift card, I can use on anything in the store in the next 2 weeks!

How did I do it?

Smiths has a promotion where you buy 10 items and $5 automatically comes off your total, meaning $.50 off an item. This means you want to buy these all in multiples of 10 to get the best bang for your buck. According to my Smiths in Provo there is no limit to how many $5 off you can get in a transaction. (when the sale started there was a limit of 3)

- used 2 coupons.com coupon for free 6 pack when you buy 2 24 packs (they don't carry the 6 pack so they substituted the 12 pack for 2 6 packs)

- prints a $5 catalina when you buy 4 24 packs

- for $12 total I got 4 24 packs, a 12 pack, and a $5 catalina! Sweet! Factoring the catalina, that makes

- each bottle just over $.06 each!
